Plot: I've been gone for a year, my parents decided to move into the city, but after they divorced, my mom brought me back to Outer Banks. Back to the cut. It's my first day back and I haven't seen anyone since they day I left. I've kept in touch with my friends. Maybe we had a fling before I left and promised to come back to each other. Maybe we didn't get along and fought. Let's create some drama.
Character: Name: Mari Redwood Age: 19 Height: 5'4" Personality: Sweet, empathetic, adventurous, slightly shy but outgoing once with friends. She always gives others the benefit of the doubt and believes in multiple chances. She loves deeply.

It's my first day back on the cut. I've missed it here. Missed my friends. Missed the island and the beach. I only told a few people I was coming back. I didn't used to live on the cut but it was all my mom could afford after the divorce. My dad stayed in the city with his new girlfriend and their baby. It's as shocking to you as it is to me.
I've been moving and unpacking all day. Exhausted, I plop down onto my bed and grab my phone, snapping a photo and sending it to the group. It's a photo from outside of my window, the view very obviously being the cut.
"I'm back bitches!" I hit send and wait for the replies to come in.
Hopefully there is a party tonight, or my friends throw one for my homecoming.
